Question:
I'm new to the tattoo world and I think about getting an arm band done on my right arm. I know what I want to get but the problem is it is in my head and I can't draw worth crap and I have yet to see one that I really really like. My question is: does anyone know a good site on the net that has a pretty decent gallery of arm bands - celtic or tribal style. I plan on going under the needle next sunday. Also does getting a tattoo on your upper arm hurt much? I don't think it would but I just want to make sure.

- For celtic, Pat Fish's site at http://www.art-tattoo.com/ has a number of bands (both arm and ankle). - As far as pictures go, check out http://www.BME.FreeQ.com/ and you'll see a few, plus I have one on my homepage. You may also want to do a search in Yahoo or AltaVista on "celtic armband" or something to that affect. As far as pain and the upper arm goes, I don't have anything on the upper arm that goes all the way around, but my cousin, who has an armband wrapping around his upper arm, says that the tender underside of the arm is actually relatively painful, so... I personally have never experienced "pain", per se, while getting a tattoo, I think it's better described as irritation.
