| Making full body temporary tattoo for multiple people |
Question:
I want to make full body temporary tattoos for 5 people for a
performance, but the temporary tattoo paper that I have been able to
find is very expensive. Can anyone point me in the right direction to
where I could find this "waterslide" paper for a lower price or tell me
how to make it myself without getting ink poisoning?
Answer: - there are many many sources for temporary tattoos, if you type in a
websearch for temporary tattoos. the ones i most often use are henna
kits (anywhere, can often be found in craft stores, hippy shops, smoke
shops, and many middle eastern grocery stores etc.
liquid latex can be painted or airbrushed on as a temporary tattoo,
(adult shops, costume shops, etc) you can also use high quality markers
although some may tend to smear on costumes if sweaty. (both can be
researched online) i guess it depends on the nature of your
performance.
- If you already have the tattoo pattern you can use tracing paper to copy
it and transfer the image to the skin using the image on tracing paper
and a clear deodorant stick.
I've seen this done and it works pretty good. Most who use this seem to
prefer blue "Bic" pens and Mennon deodorant.
