Question:
If you live in or are visiting San Diego, go see the award winning artists at
Avalon Tattoo. They have a clean, professional shop and are friendly too!!!
During a recent visit my wife and I both got tattoos, and we are very pleased
with the work.

- I have to agree with this. The first (and still only) tattoo I got
I had done at Avalon Tattoo. The shop was recommended to me by a friend,
and I'm glad I listened to him. Very professional, clean, and well versed
in what they do. I am in the planning stages for a back piece, and Avalon
is where I'm going to get it done!
- I'd like to second Terry and Pam's comments. Patty Kelley has been
working on my body suit for the past six years and I am very pleased with
her work. I travel from Minnesota once or twice a year to have the work
done. Steve Barjonah is a young artist who is rapidly gaining national
attention and he has also done some work for me. Fip Buchanan, Patty's
husband, is especially good at his own modernization of Japanese-style
tattooing and his colors are very vibrant. Mike Stobbe and Randy do
incredible work with 90's-style cartoon tats, and I am told that Juan, the
newest addition to the shop, is a very good artist.
The personalities and work of each of these artists differs from the
others, and every one is a talented professional. The shop is clean,
inviting, and well-organized for private work. Check it out.
