| Touch of a Feather Tattoos in San Antonio--reviews? |
Question:
Does anyone have any experience with "Touch of a Feather" tattoo studio in
San Antonio, Texas? It's on Topperwein Road. I checked Dejanews and the
Tattoo Yellowpages but did not see a reference to this studio.
Answer:
- Touch of a Feather in San Marcos is where I go for my needs. I've gotten my
nipple pierced, eyebrow pierced, tongue pierced twice, and one tattoo. Their
piercer, Meredith, is really nice, has a great "bedside" manner, and is
super-super-super-super-professional. Likewise, all of the employees that I
have encountered have been nice and professional as well; while waiting, I've
observed them ID each and every person that came in for some work. To date, I
haven't had a negative experience there and I refer all of my friends to Touch
of a Feather as well. I'm always excited when I get enough money to get
something else pierced.
- In Dejanews (I searched for TAT not TATTOO), I found thread "my most recent art
" by Ray, on 1997/05/07. You may enjoy the post; it's about Ray getting his
award-winning tattoo. The shop he went to was in San Marcos, so I'm not sure
if it's the same owner.
- I've been working with one of there piercers and helping them to raise
standards in all directions. Feather owns both studios, the one in San
Marcus and the one in San Antonio. To be honest I don't know how clean the
tattoo artist are but the piercing side in coming up. There work looks good
but again have know idea what they do with sterility and cleanliness.
