Question:
Does any one know a scooter shop in or around the Dallas area?... could you
give me a name and number. I'll be traveling to that area for March 10 -
25. Wish I could bring my 79 P200E or my 92 Helix. Any one want to lend me
their second... for a weekend run in the country ?
Answer:
- This shop sells Italjet scooters. I'm about to buy one, so that's what I
know. I've done some checking for classic scoots (Vespa and Lambretta) and
the closest I've found is in Houston. I'm sure someone in Dallas/Ft. Worth
sells or refurbishes scooters, but Dallas isn't much of a place for the
small ride. Traffic is brutal, so watch your back (sides and front too).
Austin would be better suited to your jaunting needs.

- Speaking as a certified Texan...there is no ''country'' to ride around in
anywhere near Dallas. It is THE monster city of Texas( if you dont count
Houston that is)
there are a few clubs in Dallas..the Dirty Scooter Boys ( who all hang out at
Suffer city tattoo shop) and in Denton Texas there are the dirties of denton..
