| Chicago tattoo shops? |
Question:
Can anyone recommend some reputable shops in the Chicago area? I'm
a newbie here, (seriously considering my first tat at 37!) and would
appreciate any suggestions. Although I live in Western Pa. I'll be in
Chicago in the fall and thought a larger town would probably give me
better odds of finding a safe and talented artist.
Answer:
-I can really recommend the Tattoo Factory. It's on 4408 N. Broadway
(near Lake shore drive), tel 312-989-4077 (walk-ins welcome). Large
shop, lots and lots of designs, they work very clean (new needle and
razor for each customer). I've been inked there last month by Harlan
Ross (big tribal design on my upper leg). He did a really fine job.
- Check the yellow pages, and find Bob Oslon , he's great, his
shop is great.
