Can you tell me some the difference between out-lining and shading when adjusting a
tattoo machine?
Answer:
The only way you are going to get an apprenticeship is if
you start RIGHT NOW with drawing and drawing and drawing.
AND coloring. And hanging out at tattoo shops (not like a
little foot-lickin' pupppy, either). AND getting tattoos.
I'm serious. And don't even THINK of tattooing your friends
and aquaintences.- If you're looking for an apprenticeship, you should NOT be
trying to adjust a tattoo machine - are you 'practicing' on
your friends? Stop right now. You can tattoo yourself if you want, but
you'll regret. Maybe try drawing up some designs for
friends who want tattoos. Study magazines and draw some flash. Go to some conventions
and hang out and watch. Maybe in a couple years you can
pick up a machine again.
