| Any Tattoo Design Ideas?? |
Question:
Does anyone has experience with graphic design programs and
art? Please give me a little help. I want to get a tattoo on
either my chest or shoulder.
For the design, I'm looking for something a design that includes a heart,
and the name Viki. Or a heart with a cool design around it and the name
Viki above or below the heart, or the name Viki in cool lettering with a
design half encircling the name with a heart on the end of it. Or even just
something someone feels like making up, that includes the name Viki, a heart
and looks like it would be a wicked tattoo.
I'm just trying to get some ideas, so I'd really appreciate it if someone
has some free time and wouldn't mind emailing me their design ideas to
happily-marrie...@rogers.com If I choose your tattoo design, I'll take a pic
and send it to ya if you would be curious as to what it looks like. Totally
up to you
Answer:
-It's worthwhile avoiding any names if those people are still alive. Sporting
a Genghis Kahn style with woolly hats and lethal bludgeons would be OK but a
Jennifer Lopez draped on a sofa in front of the Hollywood sign may be a
no-no as in 25 years time J-Lo will look completely different. Suggest you
ignore Photoshop altogether and spend some more money getting Adobe
Illustrator 10.
-Be careful, I assume this is your wife? I personally wouldn't
recommend that anyone get a tattoo of someones name on their body, unless it
was one of their kids or a dear deceased friend. But, I guess there's always
laser removal at about $1000 an hour!
-If he doesn't like Viki anymore he can still keep the tattoo, there are many
Vikis out there, just find another one. It is limiting but easier than
removing the tattoo.
Otherwise he could add a pair of horns to the heart and turn viki into
viking.
- I'm sure the "new" Viki wouldn't give it a second thought the
inspiration of that tattoo, or bring it up again at the "right" moment!
