| Meaning of a tattoo?? |
Question:
I am trying to find out if a tattoo I want to get has a particular
meaning. It is a double line circle (with no fill) with an almost
mercedes symbol in the middle. The top of the three "prongs" is slightly
longer than the others and diamond shaped. The emblem rests on a band of
chain. It would be great on the upper arm but I don't want to get it
until I find out if it has a meaning.

-If the lower 'prongs' are slightly curviform, you seem to be describing
the Klingon Triskelion from the Star Trek multiverse. A 'particular
meaning?' that thang has a whole *host* of meaning....

-Saw it in a coffee table book but can't really remember more than the
symbol.
- I'm now checking into Mario Barth's Starlight Tattoo shop in Belleville and
Studio One down in Norwood, Pa. The only thing is there's no galleries to
check out on Barth's site, so I'd have to drive up there just to check it
out. It may be worth the ride up just to hang for a bit anyway. Thanks for
