| Looking For Fish Designs (Oriental and Others) |
Question:
Can anyone give me in the direction of fish designs (carp/catfish
etc)? I have seen a couple in the Tattoos.com gallaries and think
somthing like that would look good for a first tattoo.
And anyone know the other sites or books with lots of fish ideas for me to
look at?
Answer:
- I found a book, found a *great* Auckland artist (John Whitehead) and
now sport an excellent Koi down my right upper arm.
I also found the site:

which has about 15 koi tattoo examples - I just needed that key word to
search by.
- I suppose you've already used your computer to do a search on
"koi" or even gone to a library.
If not, do so.
Yes, most of what you find on fish will be photographs. Your
tattoo /artist/ will probably be willing to turn said photo into
the art you desire -- for a fee, of course.
Oh, and I'm sure Aukland has bookstores.
