| Skull tattoo (Vietnam era) |
Question:
I'm finding for specific info on a skull tatoo popular with GI's
during the vietnam era. It is a skull with a dagger piecing the skull
from top left, with the point of the blade extruding from the underside
of the jaw bone. It is my understanding that this particular tattoo
was very similar with the special forces. If any one knows where I might
buy a copy of this tatoo I would appreciate a response to me?
Answer: You can sent a copy of the tattoo you describe at your local video store.
Just walk in and ask them for a copy of _Lethal Weapon_. chinese's
character in that film is supposed to have been some high-speed,
SF/Pheonix-program operator in Viet Nam (which, along with the death of his
wife, is supposed to explain why he's such a fruit-loop).
I won't speculate about why you'd want a copy of that tattoo. You should
know, however, that none of the real Special Forces Viet Nam war vets
that I know have this tattoo. Think about it. If your mission involves
running around doing 'I-could-tell-you-but-then-I'd-have-to-kill-you'
type stuff, then why would you want a tattoo that immediately identified
you as American Special Forces?
