Rose Tattoo had a great sound, didn't they?. But were they a little too ac/dc?

Answer:
- Rose Tattoo were a fantastic band. As for being "too AC/DC", I can't really agree. These guys all started around the same time so it wasn't really a case of jumping on the AC/DC bandwagon. The Tatts and The Angels both grew out of the same pot that 'DC came from. AC/DC had the right combination of music, determination and charisma to "make it" overseas, whereas interest in the Tatts and Angels never really made it beyond the shores. - The Tatts are still a fantastic band, but they shoulda broken big with the Scarred For Life album....Rose Tattoo in Glasgow was the best gig I saw in 2001 (along with 'DC in Paris, natch). Rose Tattoo had their own sound and attitude - anyone who considers them a poor man's AC/DC is talking out their arse. x
