| Punk Tattoo |
Question:
Does anyone know of any good tattoos that are a symbol of the 90's punk
scene....covering the whole scene...
...also looking for symbols that represent freedom / freedom of speech /
alternative culture. Does anyone have any ideas?
Answer:
- Green day is not what I would consider to be in the same weight class as
either the exploited or Anti flag. Punk tattoo? Nothing beats out the
traditional skull w/ mohawk. you could throw in a "Unity" or so, or
write it in latin. I don't knock the new wave of the punk scene because
I'm in it up to my neck, and theirs no such thing as one type of music
belonging to any particular generation.
- Someone's a bitter old man. I don't recall the scene ever dying out
while growing up in it. What about the Vandals? or suicidal tendencies?
Or Total chaos? I don't recal hearing a mention on MTV or the top 40
drivel on the radio today.
