| GREAT Tattoo shops in NJ |
Question:
I'm looking for some great tattoo shops in NJ(preferably 201 AC). When i say
great i mean extremely clean about everything and high quality artists, and
all of the ideal things you would look for. Any help would be great! Thanx
in advance...
Answer: - Few days ago, a friend of mine decided he wanted to get his tattoo done and
asked me about it. He was headed off to a little dirty shop that I was quite
wary of. I had recently met the manager of a shop called "Pleasures of the
Flesh" in Belleville who had nice work and was knowledgeble. We went
there.
I was impressed and did a bit of talking with the manager and another
tattooist while my friend was off having Mr. Peanut tattooed on his leg. I
looked through the portfolios and actually started discussing my plans
for a half-sleeve with one of the artists(looks like I have to start getting a
little more serious, I think I've found a new artist).
My friend's tat came out great, and I walked away with enough confidence
to actually recommend the place to others (once I get my own ink there I'll
do a real review).
- The best artist that I have ever heard of in New Jersey would be Paul
Booth. Look in any Tattoo magazine for his business card. I think his
shop is called Last Rites or something like that. His work is superior
and to have a piece by him is a definite honour.
- try Shotsie's Tattoo Studio
1275 Rt. 23 South
Wayne

they have a huge following. the place is clean, lots of books to look
through for ideas.
