            Best Tattoo Shop in town

Question:
I am looking for information of the tattoo shops around the triangle. I just did a yahoo yellow pages ad search from internet, and it looks there about 15 shops around now. I am going to get a large tribal, so somewhere that specializes or does a lot of those would be ideal.

Answer:
-Somehow a panorama of the Battle of Little Big Horn springs to mind. My son was happy with Warlock's http://www.warlocks-tattoo.com/ on Western Blvd., and they (both shoulder blades) were done by Ernie. Then again, I hear great things about Blue Flame (Hillsborough St). You can see that at: http://www.blueflametattoo.com/ Seriously, I hope that folks considering tattoos think about how they're perceived by the general public and PARTICULARLY by employers. Personally, I'd never hire a person with a visible tattoo, and if I knew that they had a concealed one, would be darned persnickety. I recall the apocryphal story that the nazis used tattooed skins for lampshades. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fashion nowadays just before the third holocaust. Personally I always kind of liked kissing along towards one of my favorite spots on some beautiful lady and coming across a little decoration. Of course Marylin understated it with a simple beauty spot. The sophisticates call that elegance. -IMHO any permanent body alteration for "looks" is ridiculous and the sign of a person with impaired judgment. You specifically mentioned piercing, and that might be a special issue. As I understand it, pierced skin can be encouraged to heal up or will even do it spontaneously if not held open by an object. In that case, I guess pierced ears are OK on women, but a sign of some internal flaw or weakness on men. Back in the days of high school, our son occasionally mentioned that he might get an ear pierced. I told him that it was his decision, but that if I caught him with an earring, I'd remove it without anesthetic and without taking the back off. He got the point. Later, when he went off to college, he and his cousin decided to have their ears pierced, splitting the cost of a single pair of earrings. He wore it home one weekend, and was quite disappointed when I failed to get angry. I told him that he was older now, and that if he wanted to go around looking like an idiot, it was up to him. I also suggested that he dye his hair purple and get a tattoo. He was quite disappointed in me for not getting angry and having a stroke; within a few weeks the earring was removed. The hole healed and the whole thing is just a footnote in our family's history.
