| Prison tattoos ? |
Question:
I am curious to find out the meanings of the tattoos made in
prison:
- dragon (with yellow legs)
- star with several points (half of every point is black).
I have heard the meanings but can't remember.
Answer:
- I've heard people call it a "communist star", and i usually see it as white and
black but i've seen other colors too. I don't know why, but some of my friends who
have it in thier tattoos say it ties into the punk rawk look. While were on the
topic, i've heard a spiderweb on the elbow means you've done time in prison as
well. Has anyone else heard this rumor as well?
-That sounds to me like a nautical star, popular with sailors. At least here in
the US< it wasn't exclusively a prison tattoo.
