Just curious. Is there any meaning behind a spider-web tattoo with an iron cross in it?

Question:
I am really curious about this. Is there any meaning behind a spider-web tattoo with an iron cross in it?

Answer:
-The web means Union, Conscience & Participation. -Well ive got a nice Iron Cross in the middle of a spiderweb on the elbow. The spiderweb was at first fashion then became a prison thing...not the other way around. Sailors had spiderwebs from way back when and I believe it didnt have any particular meaning...I know swallows and stars had specific meanings but I think the spiderweb was just decoration. -I heard the spider web meant you killed someone -the web usually means you killed someone, but it can also mean prison time. The cross is prolly just an embellishment, I'veseen 'em with quite a few thingsin the middle of them. -The spiderweb was *supposed* to represent prison time. Each row of webs was one year. However, it quickly became a fashion statement and not one of trials and tribulation. I don't know about the Iron Cross + Web combo. My guess is that it was just an embellishment that also had it's roots in fashion. Anybody else got other ideas?
