| tattoo shops in HOUSTON..help.. |
Question:
Here it goes i finally made it and moved out my hometown...whew!!! and
moved to Houston.my gosh! there are a lot of tattoo shops and piercing
places.i'm lost for words seeing that i came from a place that only had
two.anywayz..my question is can anyone refer me to a great, safe and not tooo
expensive tatto shop and piercing parlor? I really want to get some work done on
my back and a couple of piercings
Answer: -Hot Stuff Deluxe is good. It's on Richmond going towards the Beltway,
not towards Montrose. Miss Fortune is also extremely good. That's on
Westheimer going towards Montrose. I had my ink done there. Very nice,
very professional. The only thing I'm unhappy about is that Nathan
left. Although, there are still great artists and piercers there. They
told me they're moving locations, just down the street, to where Wear
It Again Sam used to be. On that curve in the house (next to Liquid).
I wouldn't really bother with any other place. I've heard horrid
things about that Celtic Odyssey (or something like that). It also
depends on what kind of art you're looking for. I'm only into
traditional Sailor Jerry type stuff and for that Ryan (Hot Stuff),
Fiesta (Miss F), and Nathan (moved but was with Miss F) fit the bill
perfectly. I don't have any piercings other than normal stuff, but I
like Storm (Miss F) because he's an all around funny and nice guy.
-Do you want cheap or do you want a clean, sterile environment with
professionals
I would recommend "Hot Stuff Deluxe" on Richmond Ave. Went with a friend to
keep her company while getting a tattoo and thought the people were so
polite and friendly. The work was excellent although expensive but I don't
know what this stuff costs these days so maybe the prices were normal.
-actually for the piercings i say cheap..i've heard of a couple of
places that are pretty low in price but always forget there names..and
theres one with a really huge sign next to it which i'll check out
later..but the tattoo that i want i really would like it to be done
profesionally and clean...
so if you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated...
