Heart Tattoo

Question:
I have never actually been pierced there, or tattooed, but having lived in Atlanta for 18+ years, I can tell you that the neighborhood around the Sacred Heart Tattoo is neither "friendly" nor "safe" as indicated on Mama Lani's tatto faq. Once you get, say, a mile or two away from the actual shop, it is not a great place to be at night. Just thought I'd put that in for the person who wrote that review but must not know a whole lot about the city of Atlanta.

- I disagree. Just because there are some weird people that hang around the Little Five Points area doesn't mean that the area is not safe. I had my first TAT done at Sacred Heart. The staff was very helpful. And the shop was extremely clean. Not to mention that its owned and operated by Tony Olivas. And if you still aren't satisfied there is a Sacred Heart II that is run by Tony's Wife. It's located at 3232 Roswell Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30305 (404) 262/2512. This location is in the heart of Buckhead one of Atlanta's biggest night spots and richest neighborhoods. Although I've never had a TAT done there (should change before XMAS) I had both nipples and my navel done there (BodyMind piercing is located inside both Sacred Heart locations). Well there is my 2 cents worth. I'll post more on the new TAT from Sacred Heart II after its done. - I've gotten lots of ink there and been in the neighborhood at all hours and all days of the week. The only neighborhood that would classify as being unsafe would be that directly south of Little Five Points. And then of course, if one went directly west and crossed the interstate they'd be smack dab in the middle of your precious Ga Tech campus, wouldn't they? there is parking immediately in front of Sacred Heart and directly across the screet. In most cities now no neighborhood is really safe, unless you live in a fantasy world. there;s also some pretty good nightlife at hte various restaurants and clubs there too. Guess you've been too afraid to venture out from the old frat house. And guess you might be confused about some of the incidents that have happended at the five points marta station, which is located downtown and not nearby either Sacred Heart or Tornado Tattoo's studios.
