Question:
Not everyone permanently alters their flesh to "speak" to people.
ok. but, according to what i think, it's pretty possible that people need to
talk to others, and need to exchange with others. we are not made to live
alone. so, a tattoo is not for yourself alone. when you cut your hair is not
for yourself alone. when you choose pants it's not for yourself alone. i
listen music for myself but, thinkin a little bit over the action of
listening, i am talkin with some person that sing his ideas and emotions for
me, so i am relationing with an human even if i'm alone.
Answer: both of my tatoos are located where they don't get shown off, and
are totally personal to me. I spose the one could be seen as trying to
identify myself to other goddess worshippers, but only if I hike my
sleeves up so they can see it.
I chopped my hair off with little to no concern about how it
would look, but just to get the damn hair out of my way. I guess it
wasn't for me alone, because I did it to keep the baby from pulling out
all my hair while it was long, though.
I have one pair of pants that I wear because I like the
way they look, (big shorts with stuff pinned to them) and otherwise, my
pant choice is based on comfort and laundry.
Not saying that your statements don't apply to a lot of people, but
some of us really don't manage to give a damn what people see of us.
I'm about to go out in my sweatpants to get coffee, and I haven't
combed my hair in....4 days?
