| A Tori Tattoo |
Question:
I was thinking of getting a little 'classic'
pooh tattoo on my arm but I decided to remain pure and unmarked, never
pierced my ears, no make up or anything (even though i wore three inches
of the muck in seventh grade to be 'cool') so I am sort of plain but
prefer to leave myself natural. I was thinking also of getting some sort
of tori tattoo but what is there? I dont want one of her face, that
would be too much detail and probably too big. I dont want a tattoo like
a dumbass rock star of their girlfriend's face on their arm. It could be
initials like MAAG. But I was thinking of something more artistic. A
drop of honey with the words 'listen to me' in the drop? Her lips and a
fairy shushing them with a wand? Any suggestions? Not that I am still
getting one, just what would a person get?
Answer:
- Glad to hear you aren't marring what I'm certain must be a beautiful
visage (okay, so I've never seen you, but I much prefer being able to
see a person's face without the makeup getting in the way). I suppose
that a pooh tatoo would be cool enough, but I would prefer a calvin
myself.
Thinking on it, my fist impulse was an allegory to the title blood roses.
Nothing that would be in the "I'm a tough bastard that wears leather pants"
group of things, somthing subtle and artistic. Perhaps based on the
cover of Steven Brust's "Agyar". It's so hard to put an image with some
of her songs, especially my favorites. Baker baker, but what would you
do for that??? Icicle would be easy enough, the theme is pretty obvious,
but not so easy that I can come up with somthing off the top of my head.
- If I were going to get a tattoo it would definietly have to be a fairie,
but if you want something Tori-ish why don't you get a little lock curl
of red hair with some tori-ish song quote that means something to you
under or around it? I think that would be lovely...
As for the man in the moon... You know why there's a man in the moon?
You see the moon is most assuredly a female and on occasions she's eaten
her fair share of men... So you can see them just under her skin...
