Question:
I saw the dragon in another thread but came here to reply. Nice looking
tattoo. I don't have one yet but am thinking of getting a little
hummingbird.
Answer: -If you're going to get a tattoo, make sure the ink does not contain
iron oxides (sommon in the cheaper inks.)
- I have a unicorn on my left shoulder blade, done in blue and black. I
can tell you that the color has nothing to do with the pain....... IT'S THE
NEEDLE!!!!!!
I think 'where' you have the tatoo determines how painful it will be.
These inks will severely burn you if you have an MRI. Who knows if a
doctor will want one.
Personally, I don't like the idea of putting something on my body that
I can't remove. Tattoos can be taken off, but I hear it hurts like
hell; twice as bad as getting the tattoo. And expensive, too.
A friend found some "removeable" tattoos. You can put one on, go
around with it for a few days, and then remove it with something
powerful. She used stage make-up remover.
I've pierced myself, dyed my hair strange colors, got weird haircuts;
BUT this is not so permanent. If I changed my mind or got sick of it
later, it was not a major undertaking to get rid of.
