Question:
I'm going to go get my first tattoo and i'm curious of how it feels.
Some say like scratching a sunburn, but most say it's un-describable. Also,
of what your tattoo is and where would be helpfull.
Answer: -As someone else has said, it depends where you have it.
I have a black swan on my upper arm, and i wouldn't say it hurt at all.
No worse than scratching a scab. (BTW do NOT scratch it when it does scab,
you will remove pigment underneath and maybe have to have it redone. In
fact ignoring the low level itch from the scab for a week or so is FAR
more annoying.)
-shoulders and left forearm, large ones. Depends on your tolerance for
pain and where on the body it is. Over bone, where the skin is thinner hurts
more, as do more sensitive areas such as elbows etc. It's more intense when
they 1st start, but after a while it just becomes an insane tingle. I've
only seen 1 person ever leave the tattoo parlour because they couldn't take
it... I'm sure you'll do fine.
Not a scientific answer I know, but perhaps somewhere where you are NOT
ticklish might be relatively less painful/itchy.
