| tattoo artists in Denver area? |
Question:
I'll be visiting the Denver area later in july and wondered if anyone
could recommend a good tattoo artist there. My plans are for something
small but subtle, and Montreal is unusual in having a few merely
competent artists but nobody outstanding.
Answer:
- I have a friend who swears by her, and have seen other of her works
in various Tattoo Magazines.
- Look for Sister Bear on East Colfax, or her brother's shop at
Colfax and Race. They are both excellent, although I wouldn't
know about any of the other people working in their shops.
- If you don't mind a short ride down to Colorado Springs (about one hour
south of Denver), I can highly recommend an artist down there: Tom at
Middle Earth tattoos on Nevada Ave.). Tom spent a lot of time helping
me visualize my design and also offered a number of suggestions for
improving upon it. I'm very proud to be wearing his work.
