| Lower back tattoo really hurts |
Question:
The 6 tattoos that I got on my arms were done by one tattooist and the one
on my lower back was done by another.
After putting the stencil on my lower back of a lady on cross, the very
first line was unbarerable, just above the crack of my ass. He used a 7
liner and had a very heavy touch. After he got the line drawing done I
thought it was going to hurt less - Wrong. He then got out a 6 flat shader
and put the color in - it hurt just as bad. He put in black, purple, red,
green and blue from the crack of my ass to the middle back. After 3 and 1/2
hours I was glad it was over. It hurt so bad that I was sweating and shaking
and had to bite my wallet to take the pain. He put the colors in deep and
went over the same spots alot of time to get the colors in. A month later,
the colors are dark and heavy and I still can feel the scar marks. After an
experience like that, it really scares me to get another tattoo that hurts
like that! The guy that did my 6 tattoos on my arms had a lite touch and
felt like bee stings instead of a electric knife cutting through skin. I
would go back to him but he's in jail now. any ideas?
Answer: If you're still scarred, he put the ink in too deeply. also look
for blowout as proof of this - ink blurring beyond where it should be.
tattoos hurt, but with the experience of six already, you should
know the difference between "this body part hurts more" & "holy fuck,
what the hell is he doing to me".
the smart thing to do would've been to stop him & finish with
someone else. now all you can do is work on the scarring. see
http://compunction.dyndns.org/healing.txt for methods.
