| WICCAN STAR TATTOO? |
Question:
By saying "wiccan star" I presume you mean the "Pentagram" i personaly
cannot see any harm in haveing one as a tattoo yes thay are nice as you say
or "cool" however take into consideration a tattoo is for life I know you
can have them removed but that can be costly and one other thing to think
about your body is your temple. Any opinion?
Answer: I chose to get a tattoo showing my beliefs. I love it
and it has great meaning to me. But for others who may be considering doing
this, it does require a great amount of thought.
Mine is reather large on my thigh and the pentagram is in the backround w/an
oak tree taking up most of the space. Along w/that it also had the phases of
the moon, yin and yang symbol and a triskle. Plus a small dragon looking out
from behind the tree.
As it is on my thigh I can work in a very professional atmosphere w/o any one
seeing it.
However it was not done on the spur of the moment and I'm no kid. At 31 I knew
what I was doing and what would happen if certain people saw it. As I live in
part of the bible belt-not on the buckle or anything but still in it- being
careful is very important. It means long shorts to the kids baseball games. No
pool parties w/certain people.
A religious symbol of any kind is a serious decision as is just getting a
tattoo. I would not recommend it w/o much consideration and IMHO no where that
everyone can see. When you are young you may think you can handle those who
would flame (for lack of better word) you but when you are older and perhaps
have kids it's their well being that must come first and I will not have my
kids be put down or thought of bad for my beliefs. Or not be allowed to play
w/other kids or invited to parties. Of course the list goes on but it may not
be something a younger person would think of.
Sorry so long but I was hoping that if there are others out there who want to
do this I could give my story. I wouldn't change getting it for anything but it
was well thought out and placed.
