Question:
I want to have a cool dragon tattoo on my arm. But just don't
know what exactly I want. Send some ideas or pics.
Answer:
-Go right to the source and check out Asian art books.
Example "The Art of the Dragon" that my
tattoo artist had when I got my dragon, and I picked out a beautiful one
from a painting in there.Belive me, you should try it!
-I currently wear 8 dragons which done by 3 ink slingers on my skin, . The best
of the works were done by Raven of Steele Dreamers Tattoo's. She does
both tribal and tradital designs. The real diffrence in her work is the
level of detail, she does each scale one at a time. This is what makes
the designs come alive. In the tribal she uses a very fine line detail
inside the fill areas to give the peice more depth. The detail is not a
real jump out sort of thing, but it makes people take a second look to
see why the peice is difrent.
-Why don't you ask your tattooist? He (or she) should have plenty of Dragon flash to look at, there is no
better way to get ideas than to look at various pictures of the item you
want tattooed. If your tattooist does custom work, then after looking at
all the flash, explain to him/her (being very descriptive) exactly what
it is you're wanting. You should be able to come up
with a design that is just right!
